My father, Clayton, was an extremely hard-working man. He took being a dad as a prestigious opportunity. He was a man of God — a deacon in our church for some time.
He was a father of four, and also had one stepdaughter. He was a husband. He was a friend, a son, a brother, an uncle, a cousin — but to his girls, he was just Dad, and he was the best dad we could have ever gotten.
He worked hard. He helped everyone he met. He had his own construction business, employed family members, and helped friends and family whenever they needed it.
He had a heart of gold, and he was always outgoing. He was the one to make everybody laugh. He was always dressed to the nines — such a coordinated, stylish dresser.
He was an amazing, amazing man.
